“The Song of Wandering Aengus”

Slowly, I climb back into the saddle to get back on the road. I’m not sure why it’s been so difficult lately to get pretty much anything done. Of course, just sitting around trying to figure out why also isn’t going to get anything done.

I got to work on this week’s newsletter. Progress has been good. This Sunday’s issue so far includes an unseelie template. Via this template, you can put a dark fey twist on a base creature.

“The Song of Wandering Aengus” by poet W. B. Yeats provides the inspiration for the next Five-Room One-Shot. (I recently found my Yeats collection and started up where I’d left off.) The adventure gives your PCs the opportunity to help Aengus the Wanderer enter a hollow hill in order to win the hand of the fey maiden he has fallen in love with.

Last for this post is a video in which 60s hippie troubador Donovan sings Yeats’s poem. Enjoy!
